The Pickelhaube HelmetÂ’s Design and Characteristics
This Pickelhaube helmet is a perfectly shaped helm that fits comfortably on your head. It is finely polished and has fittings made of gold which adds to its classic look. The helm has a spike right at the top to replicate the original design of the 19th and 20th century piece.
Aside from the spike, the helm also features a sloped back to protect the nape from blows that may occur during reenactments. The helm is also fitted with golden screws to secure each portion of the helmet together. Its sides are free from any enclosure, leaving your cheeks and ears visible when wearing the helm.
This Pickelhaube helmet also features black cockades on the sides. These are fashioned with golden fittings with intricate designs. It helps hold and secure the golden chin straps that are also fixed to the helmetÂ’s sides. To add more to its classic design, this Pickelhaube helmet also features a spread golden eagle insignia right at the front.
